Providing opportunities for a child to explore textures in a fun way can decrease sensitivity in children with Sensory Integration difficulties or Autism.  In short, textures are just plain fun to explore!

Here's a little girl's dream... a pink and purple bag!  The textured bag is a great way to take a sensory experience with you wherever you go.  It's also the perfect place to store fidgets and other activities to keep a child busy.  Ours is made with 6 different textures:  the outside is fleece, chenille, faux fur, faux angora, and pleather (on the bottom) while the inside is lined with seersucker.  Measures 10.5 x 11.5 x 4.5 inches

Sensory Scarf  $26

This scarf helps children engage in tactile exploration, sensory integration, and manipulation.  You can wrap up in it and the loops of fleece will beg for exploration.  If you roll it into a ball or knot it, it becomes a great "playing catch" device for large motor skills and hand/eye coordination.  

Multi-colored fleece.  100% machine washable.  Measures approximately 58" long.
